i’m so sorry to hear about your grandfather, but excited that you’re back and re-invigorated. hearing stories of how your family overcame and became successful is incredibly inspiring…it’s a shame we all don’t get together and share as often as we should.

I think that if you do not see the world through a lens of an eating disorder, then you don’t see this photo as triggering. Just like anything taken out of context, it can potentially do a lot of harm, and apparently it’s already found it’s way on to so many blogs… I don’t know if I’ll ever contact all of them. I don’t know that I’m going out there to save the world and help every single girl who posted it out of context, but I certainly don’t want my body being used as a trigger for someone to get or stay sick. It makes me feel sick.

In no way do I see anything to promote anorexia in this picture. One of the reasons I enjoy following MIMP, is that it promotes beauty in all women. The pictures on this site I consider as art. Yes, some of them are provacative and may cross the line set by some people, that is their right. But, to use this picture to promote anorexia is ridiculous. I have known women that strugled with that disease. If you want to help these women, this is not a picture that I would deem useful. Katelyn, having had these pictures taken have shown your strengh and confidence in yourself. Speaking up for what you beleive is misuse of those photos, and I do too, shows another strength of yours.
