Music and LSD (long.slow.distances)

Just saying

I think that every girl, no matter how cool she is, has at least one man that comes into her life that causes her to become a completely bonkers psycho path. I have just discovered who this is for me. Enter- Thomas. My cat. Because no matter who you are, how soft your fur is, and how much you think I love you, if you repeatedly wake me up over an hour before my alarm goes off every single day, the regular, happy, sleepy-times, cuddly Katelyn, will likely throw a chair at your head.

Thomas sleeps in the bed with me every night. He’s a very sweet and awesome cat. However, he is presently going through this phase where, regardless of when I set my alarm, he will wake me up about an hour before it goes off. I don’t know how he knows. He walks on my head, he jumps on my dresser and paws stuff off, he scratches at the box spring, he meows. And every morning I end up punching the air, throwing pillows, actually “hissing” at the cat, for crying out loud. I mean, I’ve never before hissed for any reason, ever.

This is why when I moved in with The Mister and he insisted on no cats in the bedroom, I eventually became a big fan of it. Granted, my one cat, Lucy, will pound on the door unless you put a fan in front of it, but it was worth it. Sleep is precious.

Of course, your cat is precious. And the fact that he’s hanging out with Wall-E and Eve is even cuter.
